What’s the best/richest body moisturizer you have used?
Going on holiday and want a really great moisturiser. I can’t find one better that Tesco’s own Creme Brulee body souffle and I have tried expensive and cheap brands. Has anyone experience of Elizabeth Arden’s new 8hr body ?
i have used Nivea replenishing lotion. Its rich and creamy… and keeps my skin soft (i have hard water at my apartment… so i have tried a lot of lotions.) another good one is St. Ives whipped silk.
all in all, nivea lasted longer, and kept me the softest!

What’s the difference between Moisturizer and Body Scrub/ Body Lotion/ Body Butter?

As far as I’ve ever known, “moisturizer” is just a general term for anything that moisturizes your skin. I’d think that all lotions (face or body), creams, and body butters fall into the category of “moisturizer.”
A body lotion tends to be thinnest kind of moisturizer. They tend to absorb quickly. This doesn’t make them bad; they’re just not heavy-duty.
A body butter is usually very thick, and best used for dry spots. Body butters are often kind of greasy, but are great for dry skin.
A body scrub has nothing to do with moisturizing. Scrubs exfoliate, meaning that they use little rough beads or seeds to rub the dead skin off. They typically feel grainy when you rub them in, and are usually used in the shower or are rinsed off when you’re done.
As far as knowing the difference between face and body moisturizers, I’d imagine that the packaging is the best way to tell. It should say somewhere on the bottle if it’s intended for face or body. If in doubt, you could also look at the instructions for application. The one facial moisturizer I have says to apply under makeup.
