what should i use on my face?I wash with tender care soap, and I use nivea cream at the moment, but no effect
I live in Fiji (tropical climate,mostly hot).I have never done facials,nor have I used any expensive products,except creams like fair and lovely and landers vit E cream. But my skin darkens as soon as I go in the sun.I have sun prone skin and I dont know which Face Wash, toner and moisturiser to use.I have combination skin.Please advice products,or home remedies to improve my complexion and a good sunscreen that I would be able to get in my country. thanx in advance.I have used nivea cream for the past week but no significant change yet.
If possible get Clinique’s 3 step. It was created by dermatologist so even the most sensitive skins can use it. I think you would be a #2.

- Apply a skin care moisturizing cream . Your skin will feel wonderful after this step. I would strongly advise putting sunscreen on top of your moisturizer.
- If you wear make-up it will come next. Natural is always a great look with your choice of make-up.
Evening Care
- The first step is cleaning; the same as in the morning.
- Use a cotton pad and toner again and remove any remaining make-up.
- Exfoliate. This removes dead cells which lets your skin care cream and other products become totally effective. A healthy glow will result and your face will feel bright and relaxed. Rinse well.
- This is when you will apply your skin care moisturizing cream. A good cream should be one that is especially matched for your skin type.
Two More Tips
- Your skin needs to breathe and this won’t happen with clogged pores.
- Did you know that the most common malignancy is skin cancer? Avoid sunlight and use sunscreen with your skin care cream. If you look at the skin on areas of your body that rarely are exposed to sunlight you will see the effect of the sun on our skin.

I use Avene and it is excellent. It is expensive but you only need a little bit of each cream, it is rich in “thermal spring water. The cold cream is quite thick but if you moisten your hands it goes on really easy and your face feels lubricated. If you have any problems with slight blemishes – just dab their Cicalfate cream on and it will be gone in a day.
