why does my tippman mask fog up even though it says anti-fog?
i bought the tippman 98 custom power pack, and on the mask it says anti-fog, but it always fogs up!! i cant see a thing when im playing! its brand new too. and i didnt clean it with some sort of chemical, like windex. i didnt clean it with any chemical at all!!
I had the same problem bought a so called anti fog mask and fogged up in 3 seconds. If you sweat a lot like i do running around getting shot at and breath heavily you wont be able to see a thing. Try all these suggestions from least expensive to most expensive.
1) Rubbing some spit. Gross, yes, but it decreases the temperature difference between the lens, you face, and the outside. Works for some people, didn’t work for me. Normally, it’s just a temporary fix.
2) Anti-fog spray. Again, works for some, not for me. I’m not exactly sure how it works, but my results were less than stunning. It made little semi-unfogged patches and left everything else fogged up, even after 3 applications.
3) Thermal adhesive. What this does is mimic a thermal lenses setup by placing the adhesive on the front of the lens, stopping the outside temperature from affecting the inside lens.
4) Thermal Lenses. These can actually go in spot #4 or #5 because they can range in price. But it’s basically two lenses with space between the two that, like the adhesive, works to decrease the exposure of the temperature inside the mask and the outside temperature. This would probably work if you don’t sweat too much.
5) Goggle fan. This is the ONLY thing that works for me. It sucks the moisture right out the top of the mask (it does not blow air onto your face) and makes sure no moisture settles on your lens. It makes a slight noise, but if I turn it off, I sacrifice my vision. Without it, my extremely well ventilated Dye Invisions with a thermal lens fogs up in about 3-5 minutes.
Hope that helps. Just run through that list until you hit the point that actually stops the fogging.

Homemade Facial Masks With Olive Oil
When should we make facial masks with olive oil? In winter! Actually in this season we suffer from wind and frost and even greasy skin becomes almost dry, and dry skin becomes too sensitive. Olive oil does for dry and sensitive skin very well, softening and moistening it. Also oil has anti-aging effect, smoothing wrinkles and preventing their appearance. Try any of recipes below to enjoy great effect of olive oil.
Masks for normal skin. Knead a teaspoon of non-fat curd with ½ teaspoon olive oil and add ½ teaspoon parsley juice. Mix all ingredients carefully. Put on the face and keep away in 15-20 minutes, and then wash with warm water. This mask nourishes and softens skin very well.
Grate the half a fresh cucumber and squeeze juice. Add ½ teaspoon olive oil and 1 teaspoon sour milk. Mix everything carefully and put on the face and neck. Wash with cool water in 20 minutes. This mask cleanses and softens skin.
Masks for dry skin. Bake a small onion with peel in the oven, clean the onion and pound. Add a teaspoon olive oil and a teaspoon honey. Mix everything carefully and put on the facial skin for 15-20 minutes.
Knead 5-6 boiled white beans; add a teaspoon olive oil and a teaspoon lemon juice. Mix everything carefully and put on the face. Keep for 20 minutes and then wash with warm water. This mask nourishes and whitens skin.
Masks for greasy skin. Mix some tomato juice, 1 teaspoon starch and ½ teaspoon olive oil. Put the mask on the face. Wash with warm water in 20 minutes. This mask removes fat from skin, softens and smoothes skin.
Mix 1 teaspoon oat flour with 1 teaspoon sour milk and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Add 0,25 teaspoon kitchen salt and keep for some time stirring slowly. Put on the face and keep for 20 minutes. Then wash with warm water.
The mask for sensitive skin. Mix sauce from ¼ banana with 1 teaspoon of grated fresh cucumber and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Put the mixture on the face and keep for 30 minutes. Then wash with cool water. This mask soothes skin well.
The mask for all types of skin. Mince dill and mix 2 tablespoons of it with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Add pounded oat flakes to mixture and mix everything again. Put the mask on the face and keep for 15 minutes. Then wash with warm water. This mask cleanses, moistens and enriches skin.
Anti-aging mask. Knead ¼ lemon and add 1 teaspoon olive oil and 1 yolk. Mix all ingredients carefully and add some pounded oat flakes. Mix again. Put the mask on the face and neck and keep for 20 minutes. Then wash with warm water. Make this mask regularly to smooth wrinkles and prevent appearance of new ones. I asked a question on Tom Thumb last week. Now, of course little Tom is allowed to his own personal opinion….
Part of me does think that some Doctors do simply prescribe in an automative fashion an anti-depressant and do not try to dig deeper, or look to see of the patient may need counselling, as ‘depression’ can mask more fundamental conditions, such as bipolar disorder.
On the other hand, what Tiny Tom fails to realise is that, whilst not the ideal way of combatting depression, anti-depressants allow people who may be at such a point in their lives that they cannot even be bothered to leave their bed, to function and try to get on in some sort of normality.
As Haz says, it irritates me when those in the public eye believe they are allowed to express themselves on all matters – from politics to the medical profession.
As I say, he is entitled to his opinion. But then again, do we really want to hear the opinion of a man who’s wife is a virtual prisoner, and is following such a dubious ‘religion’ as scientology?
And I thought Bono was annoying….
