How does a bad grade affect your chances of getting into medical school?
I was wondering how detramental a bad grade such as a C or a D was in getting into a top medical school. What if I were to receive just one bad grade and it was in microbiology, would that ruin my chances of getting into a top medical school?
No, it shouldn’t. Med schools take many things into account such as extracurricular involvement, community involvement, and personal issues. That one bad grade could be attributed to something detrimental such as serious illness or tragedy to family, but it is backed up by all your other good grades to serve as cushion for that. They won’t concentrate on that one small ‘bad’ thing when you have so much other good things you’ve done academically, extracurricularly, and personally. So don’t worry about it. If you still need reassurance, just go to the website of the med school you’re interested in and see what they take into account when choosing candidates for admission, and you’ll see just what I mean. A knee brace can be of great help, but sometimes you need to have other treatment methods too and your physician will be able to give you the proper medical advice on this as well.
4.) Proper Customer Service
Lastly, be able to speak to a human being when you are going to get a brace. What we mean by this is that when you go to a website and you are liking the way a certain brace looks, and you can see that it fits your budget. Then you are on the right track, but if you can not communicate with anyone then move on.

Will medical school accept me if i have retaken many classes in order to improve my grade?
Im currently attending a university and i am planning to go to medical school over the years i have fail many classes and have widrawn many classes. My transcrip is “crazy” all these F grades, but i have redone all those classes and got A’s on all of them. My currently gpa is 3.8. Will any of the medical shool accept me after all of those F grades i’ve gotten althought i’ve retaken all of those classes. My major is Computer Science.
Your chances at a US med school are really not good. I highly doubt you’ll get in. Lots of Ws, lots of Fs, lots of retakes – that’s not good.
You’re welcome to apply to med school, but be prepared with a backup plan, because it’s really unlikely that you’ll get in.
