Does oil absorbing sheets actually work?
Yup! They defenitely work. I’ve used them for so many years. I wouldn’t say they are the best thing you could use, but its cheap and works. When you rub the sheet on your face, you can see the oil come off onto the sheet. The sheet is blue, and when oil is cuahgt onto the sheet, the sheet turns clear. I’ve been using this product for a while, and i noticed that it DOES take the oil off, but sometimes you still kind of have that oily look even tho there’s not a lot of oil. But if you only mild-oily skin, it should be perfect for you. Its cheap and comes in pack of 50 sheets, brand: Clean and Clear.

Using Oil Absorbent Pads
Oil absorbent pads are a good idea for just about any commercial establishment. There are few such establishments that don’t have parking of one sort or another, and that means there’s always a possibility of oil spilling. For industrial settings, they’re an obvious necessity. Most of these pads are suitable for small- to medium-sized spills. These pads are a good means of affecting a fast response to an oil spill that is thorough, safe and that produces a minimal amount of contaminated waste from the spill cleanup.
Oil absorbent pads are selective. If there is a mix of materials on the floor, they will absorb the oil, but not most other materials. This makes it easier to control what type of waste is contained in the pads and, when they need to be disposed of, it makes it easier to make sure that they’re handled according to what hazards they present. These pads are tossed directly on top of oil and they work fast. They come in various forms, including types that are perforated like paper towels, allowing the required amount to be retrieved quickly in the event of an incident.
Oil absorbent pads are necessary for most industrial situations. As a general rule, anything that a company uses is something that the company should be able to clean up. Safety requirements differ by industry, but the handling of hazardous materials such as oil requires that certain protocols be observed to stay on the right side of compliance with state and federal regulations. Most importantly, oil poses many hazards—slip and fall, fire, fumes, and so forth—and having it collected in an inefficient or dangerous way poses real threats to your employees and your property. These pads actually repel water, increasing the volume of oil that they’re free to absorb.
Because absorbent oil pads may be left in place for a length of time while they do their work, it’s important that they present minimal hazards in and of themselves. These pads are made of materials that cling to surfaces, reducing slip and fall hazards. They are also made of very durable materials, which ensures that they don’t crumble under stress, thus compounding the problem where handling the hazardous material is concerned. White oil pads make it much easier to determine when a pad is totally saturated and when another must be used in its place.

Who makes the best oil absorbing face papers?
I have VERY oily skin, and so far I have used Crabtree & Evelyn oil sheets (Papier Poudre, w/ the powder) Clean and Clear blue oil ab. sheets, and the Body Shops oil abs. sheets. But my skin still gets really oily!! I just want to know what other places sell them because I’m tired of using the same ones and I want to try different ones.
