If I use a high SPF sunblock and then spray on tanning spray, will I burn?
I’m trying to tan a little without burning. Will this work?
I live in Florida so I will burn easily. Within 15 min.
Yes you can burn if you’re talking about an oil-based tanning spray. I assume you’re not talking about the spray-on tan which is a different product. Use a 30 to start, then use a 15. But do not add a tanning spray. You will get a lovely tan without burning. Depending on what region you are in, you could easily fry with a 15 or 30 sunscreen. Also, how much time will you devote to the sun? One WHOLE day, two? If just one day, do the 15 – if two days, 30+ the first day, then 15 the next.
I am a sun worshipper, always have been. My skin is decent even with the exposure. But the thing I never paid attention to was SUNGLASSES. I never wore them, ever. Now I have something on my eyes which would be likened to callouses (you can’t see them if you don’t know I have them.) But I’m having eye problems at too young of an age. So along with your skin make darned sure you protect your eyes which are as much if not more precious than your renewable skin cells.

I left my sunscreen spray in the trunk of my car all day yesterday in the heat; will it still work?
It’s new, never took off the cap (Neutrogena spf 70 spray). It got up to the mid-90′s yesterday and my car in the hot sun all day. I left it in the trunk – could the heat have changed the composition of the sunscreen, will it still work?
Sunscreen is light sensitive, and possibly air sensitive depending on the ingredients. It is not heat sensitive. If the sunscreen has not been exposed to light and the cap has been left on, then it will be fine. The worse that can happen is that the ingredients separated, so you may wish to shake it up before applying.
