Tanning Towel
Found dead tiny caterpillar/worms in the folded towel.What are they? How do I get rid of them besides washing?
I noticed when I dont use a certain towel I will discover these dead tiny light tan caterpillar/worms in the folded towel. Someone told me that it caused by humidity. Also found them on new towels too. Doesnt matter where I stored them either.

I know exactly what you are talking about! I don’t think it’s from damp towels or an infestation in your house. I have found them on the bathroom floor before. I also found a dead one the other day on my canister in the kitchen. I don’t believe my house is infested. I have a pretty clean house and the only time I ever find them is in the summer. Maybe it has something to do with humidity?

Tanning has become a trend and provides a way to achieve a change of color for the skin. It creates beautiful coloring effect with the skin. You can get a tan without going to the tanning salon or basking long hours under the sun. This is possible through the use of tanning sprays.
Frequent sun bathing and the use of tanning equipment at tanning salons may lead to skin damage. They can also make your skin look older and vulnerable to skin cancer. To prevent this from happening, you can choose a safer alternative and that’s self tanning or do-it-your-own tanning. There are many tanning products available to select from.
These products usually darken the skin because of chemical reactions caused by dihydroxyacetone or DHA when in contact with your dead skin cell. They do not cause any damage to your healthy skin as compared to UV light and sun. The result can normally lasts for several days.
Tanning sprays are ideal for first time tanners. They produce a natural and beautiful tan. They must be sprayed with long and even strokes to achieve the finest possible outcome. These are also good products for correcting blotches caused by other tanning products. When you apply them, the nozzle should be at least 6 inches away from the skin. Then, distribute the product thoroughly with your hands.
Aerosols are one of the types of tanning sprays. These tanning products are excellent for quick retouch or quick refresher. They can be applied in less time and quickly dry in about 5 minutes after application. Aerosols are ideal for people who have limited time but want to have a tan.
Aerosol spray comes in a range of angles. The best of this type is the any angle spray that allows for easy application especially at difficult to reach parts like backs and legs. Generally, it is indicated in the packaging if a spray is applicable for any angle spray. Another factor to consider with aerosol sprays is its size. Sizes vary from two ounces to ten ounces. You can choose from different sizes depending on your requirement.
Another recommended product is the Neutrogena Micro Mist Tanning Sunless Spray. This product provides a golden effect and dries in just a few minutes. The spray is colorless so it does not leave any stain compared to other products. It is very easy to use and does not need rubbing.
These products should only be applied externally. Though they aren’t detrimental to health, there are still some precautions that should be followed to ensure safety. Avoid inhaling or exposing your lips, nose, and eyes to these sprays. It is also highly recommended to test the tanning spray for yourself before you decide to purchase or use one.
Before applying any of the tanning products you must take a shower and scrub your skin with plain wash cloth. You may also use some baking soda or commercial scrubs. Remember to avoid salt or oil scrubs. Your skin should be completely dry and free from make up, deodorants and moisturizers. Ideally, it is advisable to do your tanning before bedtime or if you have enough time to spend for the procedure. After applying sunless tanning products you should not take a shower for at least six hours so as to avoid any uneven areas.
Moreover, here are some important things you should do and the tools you should prepare:
• Your hair should be tied away from your face or neck
• Use shower cap to cover light, bleached, or grey hair and prevent discoloration
• Tan extending lotion for blending
• Rubber dishwashing gloves or medical gloves to protect hands from over tanning
• Snug socks for foot protection
• Use dark colored outfit like bathing suit, T-shirts, and shorts
• Round velour cosmetic applicator or cosmetic sponge for blending
• A spray area with good ventilation, such as a shower stall
• Back applicator device
• Damp washcloth or baby wipes
• Nose filter or mask if ventilation is not sufficient
• Body powder to prevent stickiness
• Shake the tanning spray thoroughly then spray small amount into a paper towel
• Shake the spray every other minute and turn upside down to distribute the content evenly
• A large mirror is essential for you to be able to see if your back area is covered evenly
• Dry your skin in about few minutes in between application
• Don’t forget to spray behind your ears and back of your neck

How do I tan my face in the tanning bed. I have super fair skin with freckles!!!?
I am very white with freckles! If I try to let my face tan in the tanning bed my freckles pop out like crazy and my face burns. So I cover it up with a towel. Ofcourse I dont want my whole body tan and my face ghostly….what can I do?
I cover my face too, but tan my body. I give my face 1 to 2 minutes the last of 12 in the booth (I use the stand up, not beds) and I use sun screen just on my face, but not on my body. I have never burned my face but I have a nice golden color. I use TAN which is tan-in-a-bottle also on my face and body so that I match. I don’t want my facial skin to burn or peel or look older, so I am very careful.
